Rivited Monte -by Magic From Holland

Riveted Monte is a very unique monte type of effect unlike all other versions you have ever seen! Inspired by Angelo Carbone's "out of order" an extra card has been added, a little thing has been changed and made it into a kind of monte effect.

EFFECT: 5 Cards are shown in a fan riveted together. 4 Cards are jokers, the other is an indifferent "money card". Because the cards are riveted together it is impossible to change the order of ANY card. But... have you ever heard of sleight of card?

You (the magician) show the money card is in the fourth position in the fan. WITHOUT any moves you close the fan and instantly open it again. The money card is now IN THE MIDDLE! You can hand the fan to your spectator to check. It is really in the middle. When you get the fan back, you again close and open the fan, and sleight of card must exist, because now the money card is in the SECOND position in the fan! IMPOSSIBLE!

Finally you have the spectator hold on to the money card while it is still in the second position. When the spectator HIMSELF closes the fan and reopens it, he will now find the money card IN THE MIDDLE again. Another way to prove you should never play a monte effect, because sleight of card exists and even in test conditions you will lose.

Riveted Monte is made from Bicycle cards. The money card has an odd backed color i.e. red jokers and a blue money card.
